Experience the beauty of Hawaiʻi’s Big Island on an unforgettable afternoon journey from the Kohala Coast to historic Hilo.
Departing from the Fairmont Orchid, travel along the lush Hāmākua Coast to spectacular ʻAkaka Falls and picturesque Rainbow Falls. Continue through historic Hilo with stops at Banyan Drive, Queen Liliʻuokalani Gardens, and the King Kamehameha Statue.
Along the way, enjoy the perfect opportunity to connect and network with fellow credit union attendees in a relaxed setting while experiencing some of the island’s most beautiful scenery.
The return trip takes you across Saddle Road between the dramatic landscapes of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa before arriving back at the Fairmont Orchid.

The famed South Course is an 18-hole championship links style course with powerful ocean and island views. Between 1990-2000, this course was the host venue to the annual Senior Skins Game. Its 15th hole is one of the most photographed, over-the-water golf holes in the world. The course weaves through lava from the ancient Kaniku lava flow. During the winter months golfers can enjoy watching whales just offshore from the course.
